Subtle, well-planned injectable treatments can help you look rested and refreshed while preserving the features that make you recognizable. At Gulf Coast Facial Plastics, we customize every treatment based on your facial anatomy, personal concerns and desired results.
Our injectable options include Botox®, Dysport®, Juvéderm®, Restylane®, Bellafill® and Kybella®. Whether you want to soften expression lines, restore facial volume, enhance your lips or create better facial balance, our team will help you understand which options may be right for you.
Botox and dermal fillers can both create a more refreshed appearance, but they accomplish that in different ways.
Botox and Dysport temporarily reduce targeted muscle movement. They are commonly used for lines that become more noticeable when you smile, frown or raise your eyebrows.
Dermal fillers restore volume beneath the skin. Depending on the product and placement, fillers can enhance the lips, support the cheeks, soften facial creases or improve definition through the lower face.
Some patients benefit from one treatment, while others may benefit from a carefully planned combination. Your consultation gives us an opportunity to evaluate your features and recommend an approach that complements your face rather than changing it.
Injectables may be used to improve concerns such as:
Not every injectable is suitable for every concern. The recommended product and placement will depend on your anatomy, medical history, and treatment goals.
Botox Cosmetic is a prescription injectable that temporarily reduces muscle activity in carefully selected areas. It is commonly used to soften forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet around the eyes.
Because every face moves differently, treatment should be customized rather than applied using the same pattern for every patient. The placement and amount used will depend on your natural expressions, facial anatomy, and the result you want to achieve.
Dysport is another prescription wrinkle relaxer. Although Botox and Dysport work similarly, they have different formulations and may behave differently depending on the treatment area and individual patient.
Your provider can explain the differences and help determine which option is more appropriate for you. You can also learn more in our guide comparing Dysport and Botox.
Lip fillers can improve volume, shape and definition while maintaining balance with the rest of the face. Treatment can range from a subtle refresh to more noticeable enhancement based on your preferences and natural lip structure.
Patients comparing temporary fillers with longer-term options can also explore our lip augmentation services.
Volume loss in the cheeks can make the face appear flatter or more tired. It can also cause facial folds to become more noticeable. Carefully placed filler can restore support to the midface and enhance the natural contours of the cheeks.
Nasolabial folds extend from the sides of the nose toward the mouth, while marionette lines form below the corners of the lips. Dermal fillers may be used to soften these areas while maintaining natural facial movement.
Fillers can also enhance the chin and create more definition through the lower face. The goal is to improve proportion and balance while preserving the features that make your face unique.
Different injectable products are created for different treatment areas and goals. During your consultation, your provider will explain which product is being recommended and why.
Restylane
The Restylane collection includes hyaluronic acid fillers for areas such as the lips, cheeks, chin, under-eye hollows and facial folds.
Options may include Restylane Kysse, Lyft, Refyne, Defyne, Contour, Silk and Eyelight. Each has a different consistency and is selected according to the area being treated.
Juvéderm
The Juvéderm collection also includes hyaluronic acid fillers used to restore volume, soften facial lines and enhance areas such as the lips and cheeks.
Available options may include Juvéderm Ultra, Ultra Plus, Volbella, Voluma and Vollure.
Bellafill
Bellafill is a collagen-based filler used for certain smile lines and qualifying facial acne scars. It is designed to provide longer-lasting correction than temporary hyaluronic acid fillers and requires careful patient selection.
A consultation and skin test are necessary to determine whether Bellafill is appropriate for you.
Kybella
Kybella is an injectable treatment for fullness beneath the chin. It is not a dermal filler. Instead, it targets fat cells in the treatment area to help create a more defined profile.
Depending on the patient, a series of treatments may be recommended.
Your appointment begins with a conversation about your concerns, previous treatments, medical history, and desired results. Your provider will then evaluate your facial structure and explain the options that may be appropriate.
The injections are placed in carefully selected areas according to your treatment plan. Many injectable procedures can be completed during a relatively short office visit.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising may occur near the injection sites. Most patients experience little interruption to their normal schedules, but you will receive specific aftercare instructions based on your treatment.
Injectable results depend on more than the product selected. Placement, dosing, and an understanding of facial anatomy all influence the outcome.
Treatments at Gulf Coast Facial Plastics are performed by Dr. Daniel Daube, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon. His experience with facial anatomy and rejuvenation allows each treatment to be planned with the entire face in mind.
Our approach focuses on personalized recommendations, natural-looking enhancement, and clear education about what each treatment can and cannot accomplish.
What is the difference between Botox and fillers?
Botox temporarily reduces targeted muscle movement that contributes to expression lines. Dermal fillers restore volume beneath the skin and can enhance areas such as the lips, cheeks, and chin.
Can Botox and fillers be used together?
Yes. Because they address different concerns, they may be included in the same treatment plan when appropriate.
How long do injectable results last?
Botox and Dysport commonly last several months. The longevity of dermal fillers varies based on the product, placement, and individual patient.
Is there downtime after treatment?
Most patients can return to many normal activities shortly after their appointment. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising may occur.
How do I know which injectable is right for me?
The best option depends on what is causing your concern. Expression lines may respond well to a wrinkle relaxer, while volume loss and facial contours may be better addressed with fillers. A consultation allows your provider to make a personalized recommendation.
