What Areas Does CoolTone™
Work On?

Work Smart. Tone Hard.
Cooltone™ is FDA-cleared to strengthen, tone, and firm three separate areas:

  • Abs
  • Glutes
  • Thighs

If you’d like to improve muscle strength and tone of 1 or more of these areas,
CoolTone™ might be right for you.

How Does CoolTone™ Firm
And Strengthen Muscles?

A toned look can be difficult to achieve, even with exercise and training. CoolTone™ uses
magnetic muscle stimulation to selectively target muscles, triggering powerful muscle
contractions that your body could not otherwise achieve on its own.

  • Bypasses the skin, fat, and nerves
  • Targets muscles safely and effectively
  • Creates powerful muscle contractions to improve tone and strength

After treatment, you will notice that your abs, glutes, or thigh muscles will be
firmer and have a more toned appearance.

FAQs

CoolTone is a non-invasive, FDA-approved body contouring treatment designed to tone, strengthen, and firm muscles in areas like the abdomen, thighs, and buttocks. Unlike treatments that focus solely on reducing fat, CoolTone specifically enhances muscle definition and builds strength through advanced magnetic muscle stimulation (MMS) technology. Patients often choose CoolTone to achieve more sculpted muscles and improved tone without surgery or extensive downtime.

A CoolTone treatment uses Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) to trigger deep muscle contractions that go beyond what you can achieve naturally during exercise. During each session, applicators are placed on the targeted areas, like your abdomen, thighs, or buttocks. The treatment typically lasts about 30 minutes, and you’ll feel your muscles contracting as the device works. It’s a comfortable process, though it feels similar to an intense workout. There’s no downtime afterward, making it easy to return to your daily routine immediately.

Yes, CoolTone is clinically proven to strengthen and tone muscles effectively. Patients frequently see visible improvements in muscle definition, strength, and tone after completing their recommended series of treatments. For example, CoolTone before and after photos—especially for areas like the thighs and buttocks—often show noticeable results even after a single session, though optimal results usually come after several treatments. Realistic expectations are important, and results can be enhanced with regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle.

Each CoolTone session lasts around 30 minutes, making it convenient to schedule during a lunch break or between errands. Because there’s no recovery time, patients can immediately resume normal activities. To achieve optimal results, multiple sessions are usually recommended over a span of several weeks, with noticeable improvement typically after just a few treatments.

CoolTone results typically last several months, depending on your lifestyle and how well muscle tone is maintained afterward. For lasting results, patients usually benefit from regular maintenance treatments every few months. Staying active, engaging in strength-training exercises, and maintaining a balanced diet will also help prolong your results. Think of CoolTone as a powerful complement to a healthy lifestyle rather than a one-time fix.

The CoolTone procedure is a comfortable, non-surgical treatment performed in-office. During the session, a clinician places the CoolTone applicator directly on your targeted muscle group, such as your abdomen or thighs. The device emits magnetic pulses, causing your muscles to contract deeply and repeatedly, which builds strength and improves definition. The procedure typically takes about half an hour per treatment area and requires no downtime afterward.

CoolTone uses advanced Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) technology to penetrate beneath your fat layer, directly targeting muscle tissue. The magnetic energy stimulates intense muscle contractions—much stronger than voluntary muscle movements during typical exercise. These powerful contractions help build muscle fibers, resulting in improved strength, tone, and definition. Regular treatments can enhance muscle contour significantly, providing visible CoolTone results in areas like your abdomen, thighs, and buttocks.

CoolTone is considered very safe and is FDA-cleared for improving muscle tone and strength. The treatment is non-invasive, meaning there are no incisions, injections, or anesthesia involved. Side effects are typically minimal and may include temporary muscle soreness similar to that experienced after a vigorous workout. Serious complications are rare, but it’s important to discuss any medical conditions or implanted devices with your clinician during your consultation.

CoolTone cost can vary based on the treatment area, the number of sessions needed, and specific patient goals. Generally, individual treatments can range from a few hundred dollars per session to bundled packages offering cost savings for multiple sessions. During your consultation, you’ll receive a customized treatment plan along with exact pricing based on your personal goals and needs. Patients often consider CoolTone an investment in their overall wellness and body confidence.

While CoolSculpting targets unwanted fat by freezing and reducing fat cells, CoolTone specifically focuses on strengthening, firming, and toning muscles through Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS). CoolSculpting is ideal for reducing stubborn fat deposits, while CoolTone is designed for individuals looking to enhance muscle definition and achieve a more sculpted appearance. Many patients find combining both treatments beneficial: CoolSculpting reduces fat, and CoolTone builds muscle for a comprehensive body-contouring result.

Most patients achieve optimal results with an initial series of four to six CoolTone treatments, typically scheduled twice per week. You might start noticing improvements after just one session, with significant muscle definition visible by the end of the recommended series. To maintain long-lasting results, periodic follow-up sessions every few months are usually recommended, along with regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle.
